How it works

The spa comes to your living room

In-home massage sounds like a luxury until you do the math: a spa visit costs the session plus the drive, the parking, and the hour of your evening spent getting there and back. Kim's version costs the session. Here's the whole process, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Book your session

Request a time online or call. Kim confirms your appointment and answers any first-timer questions.

  2. 02

    Kim comes to you

She arrives with the professional table, fresh linens, oils, and soft music. You just clear a quiet corner.

  3. 03

    Sink into rest

A full session in your own space — and when it ends, you are already home. No drive, no traffic, no rush.

Six ways to let go

See full details

Six modalities, one table, zero driving. Whether you need the classic full-body reset of a Swedish massage, focused deep tissue work on a stubborn knot, or position-supported prenatal care, every session below happens wherever you are — at the same all-inclusive rate anywhere Kim travels.

Why massage

Most disease is stress-related.
Rest is not a luxury.

Less anxiety

Massage calms the nervous system and lowers stress hormones.

Better sleep

Clients consistently report deeper, easier sleep after sessions.

Greater energy

Releasing chronic tension frees up energy your body was spending on stress.

Improved circulation

Hands-on work moves blood and lymph, helping muscles recover.

Sharper focus

A relaxed body supports improved concentration and productivity.

Reduced fatigue

Regular bodywork reduces mental and physical fatigue alike.

Your therapist

Meet Kim

Kimberly Thatcher has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2016, trained in Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, chair, and hot stone massage at Virginia College of Huntsville. She calls massage therapy her calling — and her clients tend to agree.

That range matters more than it sounds: bodies rarely need just one thing. A session that starts as a relaxing Swedish massage can lean into deep tissue work where your shoulders demand it, and a client Kim has seen through a pregnancy knows the postpartum sessions will meet a different body. One therapist who knows your history beats six strangers with six specialties.

“When you feel better, you can perform better in every part of your life.”

More about Kim

Why Gentle Hands

A spa has a lobby.
You have a living room.

Massage only works if you actually get one — and the drive, the parking, the waiting room, and the drive home again are exactly where good intentions go to die. Gentle Hands removes every step between you and the table. What's left is the part that matters: an experienced therapist, an unhurried hour, and a body that finally gets to let go in the place it's most at ease.

One therapist, every time

You book Kim, you get Kim — not a rotating roster or a marketplace stranger. She learns where your tension lives and how you like the pressure, and every session builds on the last.

Licensed and practiced

A Licensed Massage Therapist since 2016 and an ABMP member, Kim trained in six modalities — so the session adapts to your body, not the other way around.

Honestly all-inclusive

The rate you see covers the travel, the table, the linens, and the hour — no memberships, no surge pricing, no surprise fees. The cost guide shows every number.

On your schedule

Evenings and weekends included. When the therapist comes to you, a massage stops being an errand you plan a day around and becomes an hour you simply keep.

Where Kim travels

Serving North Alabama

Kim's table travels all of Madison County: downtown Huntsville lofts, the neighborhoods of Jones Valley and Hampton Cove, homes full of Redstone Arsenal and Research Park commuters, and fast-growing Madison from Madison Station out to Clift Farm. North of the city, she covers the communities a spa never quite reaches — Meridianville, Hazel Green, New Market, Toney, and Monrovia — where an in-home session beats a forty-minute round trip every single time.

Every town gets the same session, the same rates, and the same zero travel fees. Don’t see yours? Ask — if it's near Kim's regular routes, she may still be able to come to you.

Quick answers

Before you ask

What do I need to have ready?

A quiet room with enough floor space for a massage table — that’s the entire list. Kim brings the table, fresh linens, oils, and music, and sets everything up herself in about ten minutes.

What does an in-home massage cost?

Between $70 and $100 for a 60-minute session depending on the service, with 90- and 120-minute options from $95 to $200. Travel is included — the mobile massage cost guide breaks down every rate.

Do you come to my town?

Kim serves Huntsville, Madison, and the communities across north Madison County — Hazel Green, Meridianville, New Market, Toney, and Monrovia. Close but not on the list? Ask; if it fits her routes, she’ll make it work.
